Alicante Base Captain Reference

We are really proud to congratulate about the great job you did yesterday F/D: Marco Boni 16784 and....

We know you are very professional and do your best every day. But you faced one of the most difficult situations you can find onboard, with a great result. It ́s in this difficult moments when we show the high-level skills we have. As I have been reported you had a great CRM and team work. All these made you had the situation under control and as a result a complete success with a calm and excellent attitude.

You, all together, made a great team work ensuring our passengers safety and the best cooperation. Thanks so much for your great job!

Base Chief

Marco, here in Norwegian, is an outstanding of how commander should be in our modern world of aviation. A good examples for all of our first officers.

Marco is also a TRI, LTC and BTC and as well is the coordinator of the NPSG ( Norwegian Pilot Support Group ) who takes part in assisting pilots who need help in various aspects of their lives. This is really an excellent way to enhance our flight safety environment to even higher level.

I can only recommend to others that Marco is a valuable asset to have as a flight crew member.

Deputy Training Manager

I have worked with Marco Boni as his Deputy Manager Training in Norwegian where he has served in the roles of Line Training Captain, Type Rating Instructor and as a valued member of the Norwegian Pilots Support Group.

In these positions he has demonstrated high levels of skill, attitude and knowledge both as a Trainer, as well as empathy and tact as a counselor.

Marco has a flexible approach as well as an excellent ability to identify core issues a student may encounter. These traits, combined with his affable nature, means that he is one of the first people I call should a problem occur in training.

It was with this in mind that he was appointed as the Base Training Captain for Alicante in March 2017, a role in which he excelled.

LTC & TRI

I've been appointed  LTC and TRI for the training department of Norwegian Air International. Working in various sim center in Oslo, London, Barcelona. I had the opportunity to help the training department to improve and review our SOP and training syllabus. As well to fly to various challenging destinations with a cadet FO.

BTC

I've been appointed BTC for the training department of Norwegian Air International. Working in a management position to coordinate the local training in Alicante, as well as dealing with all sorts of issues related to training and cadets. I had the opportunity to help the training department to improve and review our SOP and training syllabus.

NPSG

I've been appointed coordinator of the group, and since then it's been an amazing journey with all the peers and all of our pilots. We have been able to help so many people. It's been such a rewarding and challenging job at the same time, but being able to help a colleague has no price.
